DAY 02 | KANDY
DAY ACTIVITY: FULL DAY KANDY CITY TOUR
After Breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing in Kandy.
Wander around the lake and the streets of Kandy getting a feel for this wonderful city. The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha, Royal Botanical Garden, the magnificent river girdled 57 hectare laid out in 1832 are among the finest in the world. Art Craft Village – Sri Lankan handicrafts have a history that dates back to the millennium. Production of Sri Lanka handicrafts, with the exception of jewelry, is essentially a household goods industry. Visit the Kandy Lake and View point. (Complementary)
Gem Museum and Factory Visits – Sri Lanka is one of the world's top five gem producers. The special geological structure makes 92% of the land in Sri Lanka contain precious stones. It is a true "treasure island." Sri Lanka has a history of more than 2,500 years of precious stones.

DAY 03 | KANDY – COLOMBO (APPROX 110KMS / 03HRS)
DAY ACTIVITY: TRANSIT DAY + SIGHTSEEING IN COLOMBO
After Breakfast check out hotel & proceed to Colombo, enroute enjoy the sights and sounds of Colombo.
Colombo (derived from Sinhalese name Kolaambathota which means "mango harbour", altered by the Portuguese to honor Christopher Columbus), is the cultural capital and largest city and commercial center of Sri Lanka. (The new administrative capital of Sri Lanka is Sri Jayawardenepura-Kotte.)
Colombo was probably known to Roman, Arab, and Chinese traders more than 2,000 years ago. Muslims settled there in the 8th century and controlled much of the trade between Sinhalese kingdoms and the outside world. The Portuguese arrived in the 16th century and built a fort to protect their
spice trade.The Dutch captured the city in the 17th century. The British made the city the capital of their crown colony of Ceylon in 1802.
